I'm not good at conflict. In fact, this is my natural response...
As I've failed at conflict over and over and over again, I've learned this truth:
Conflict is the price we pay for healthy relationships.
For me, the key has been curiosity. When I approach a conflict, disagreement, misunderstanding or opposing opinion with curiosity, I always walk away with a better understanding of myself and a stronger relationship with the other person.
I get in trouble when I leave the curiosity behind and bring ego instead. Like I said, I haven't mastered it yet.
